Having had counselling my self in the past which definitely helped me. Making me think that this is something that I would like to do , helping other people. It was daunting at first as I hadn't had counselling or what to really expect . It got me to a place that I could manage on my own. Nursing had become to physical due to my arthritis, this was the ideal career change, while still building a rapport with patients/clients and collegues.
I am also a supervisor in Counselling.
